I’ve been searching for pancake recipe for years… finally, I got it!! (It’s a little bit late, isn’t it? C’mon, it’s only Pancake!!) Anyway, better late than never…

I’ve been modifying the recipe…try and feel the taste!!

BASIC PANCAKE

INGREDIENTS :

  • 190 g all-purpose flour
  • 10 g baking powder
  • 3 g salt
  • 25 g white sugar
  • 4 g vanilla powder
  • 295 ml milk
  • 1 egg
  • 45 g butter, melted

DIRECTIONS :

  1. In a large bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, salt, sugar and vanilla.
  2. In a small bowl, mix the milk, egg and melted butter until smooth.
  3. Pour the milk mixture into the bowl with the flour mixture, and whisk together until smooth.
  4. Let the mixture sit for about 10 minutes.
  5. Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium high heat. Spoon about 1/4 cup of batter onto the hot surface for each pancake. When bubbles appear on top of the pancakes, flip, and cook until golden brown on the other side.
  6. Serve hot with maple syrup, chocolate sauce or strawberry sauce.

STARTING AGAIN

WOW…!!!! It’s been a long time since my first posting. Well, a lot of things happened in my previous months. Anyway, we as human beings should always thank God for everything as now I am very grateful about my beautiful little girl who was born on February 6, 2008. Her name is ZOYA.
All parents want the best for their children, for sure, including the name of the baby. There are many books and websites that show you thousands of baby's name and meaning. But in my case, I got the name of Zoya when I read a novel “ZOYA” written by Danielle Steel. Zoya is a Russian name that means “life”. Reading “ZOYA” makes me appreciate life and lives to it day by day.
